  • The real barrier to clinical AI transformation is that leaders are hesitant of the perceived risks and concerns about how AI may affect clinical judgment and decision-making.
  • Evaluate AI use cases through context, not category. The distinction between “clinical” and “administrative” is often misleading. Responsible adoption requires assessing autonomy, downstream impact, and feasibility.
  • Influence over care decisions is diffusing. Clinicians are no longer the sole decision-makers. Patients, vendors, platforms, and new entrants are reshaping how care is delivered and who drives it.
