Webinar

Defining and driving value for health system labs

About the webinar

Laboratory leaders and diagnostic manufacturers are under increasing scrutiny to demonstrate clinical and business value to health system executives, who often see labs as a cost center. Health systems decide whether to invest in lab automation, digital pathology, specialty testing, and outreach services based on the impact these investments have on the health system as a whole.

This session looks beyond the debate of seeing health system labs as either a cost center or a revenue driver. We will provide a blueprint for defining lab value to an executive audience and tactics to help leaders increase that value for their health systems.

Things you'll learn:

  • Understand how health system executives and lab leaders calculate lab value
  • Hear ideas on how to reframe lab and diagnostic services into an executive-ready value story
  • Know how leading health system labs are making smart investments to unlock value of lab services

You must register to join the session and access materials or the recording.
