Webinar
Rethinking vaccine access with electronic prescribing
About the webinar
Electronic prescribing (eRx) for vaccines is an important tool for health systems when in-office vaccination is not possible — such as when vaccines are not stocked, when coverage or reimbursement limitations apply (for example, Medicare Part D limitations), or when patients choose to receive vaccination elsewhere.
In this webinar, clinical expert Dr. Lloyd Fisher and Pfizer health IT expert Lesley will explore both why health systems should consider adopting eRx workflows for vaccines and how to effectively implement those workflows. Drawing on real-world experience, the facilitators will discuss how eRx can support an HCP recommendation, patient engagement, how to gain provider buy-in for eRx, and how to integrate eRx workflows into care pathways. Attendees will gain practical guidance to design effective eRx workflows to improve adult vaccination rates.
Things you'll learn:
- When and why to use eRx for vaccines in constrained settings.
- How eRx may boost adoption and adult vaccination rates.
- Potential ways implement eRx workflows in clinical practice.
