The healthcare landscape is constantly shifting — and so is the way health system leaders make decisions about which drugs, devices, and supplies to purchase.
Providers are adapting to industry dynamics including a volatile health policy environment, new competitors, clinical innovations, and changing clinician roles. To understand what these changes mean for purchasing decisions, we surveyed leaders of health system value analysis committees (VACs) and pharmacy and therapeutics (P&T) committees on how they define and determine product value.
